TUCSON OFF-ROAD CYCLISTS AND ACTIVISTS
Do you feel that the step up after the blind right turn almost at the bottom of La Milagrosa ruins the flow of the trail? If so, come out and help us move some rocks to make that right turn more sustainable. We'll be meeting at La Milagrosa Trailhead with Pima County for a short hike to the work site. Depending on the number of trail workers in attendance, there may be light brushing and tread work in the immediate area.
What to bring:
-Long work pants or jeans (no shorts or stretchy pants), again long pants
-Closed toe shoes/work boots
-Long sleeve shirts
-Eye protection (Sunglasses are fine)
-Hat
-Pack with at least 100oz of H20 and snacks and water (yes, it's important)
-Work gloves (we have gloves if needed)
We'll provide tools, training, and post-hike snacks and drinks.
Never come out for a "productive hike" before? No problem! We'll give you the training and continued guidance on appropriate tool usage.
