TORCA recently had the privilege of meeting a truly inspirational group of people when we were asked by OutriderUSA and Epictrip.org to be part of a focus group on a project that helps bring awareness to adaptive cycling and the possibilities to expand adaptive opportunities for people with spinal injuries.

One of those people we met was Chris Wenner who is responsible for the development and construction of a one of a kind battery powered "trike" that will power him almost 11,000 miles around the country . It uses specially designed toggles that allow for anyone with even limited use of their upper body, the ability to ride the road and even the potential to ride in remote areas and trails. Chris will be embarking on an Epic trip around the perimeter of the US on this one of a kind machine!!
